Pros- The apts. themselves are pretty nice, spacious, modern and clean. The location is great and convenient. The maintenance staff is pretty good about fixing things in a timely manner and they keep the grounds very well kept up. The neighbors are friendly enough and keep to themselves for the most part.

Cons- My biggest complaint is that they do surprise inspections every 6-8 wks. Yeah, that's right they will come in your home and look around that often and you have no say in the matter. They will give you very little notice too. Most of the time they put a notice on your door betowwen 3-5 pm. that they are coming the next day anytime from 10 am- 4 pm. So, if you don't want strangers poking around your home when you're not there plan on taking sick days from work a few times a yr. for this. I've had to do it a couple times. I've complained about it but it's a waste of time. They do it anyway and asking for more notice doesn't help either. They don't care that it's a complete invasion of your privacy. They claim they have to do this to keep pests under control and check for cracks in the foundation. I find that strange since the buildings are all new and I've talked to several of my neighbors and everyone doesn't have the inspections this often. Some only get it a couple times a yr. So it appears they are choosing who to spy on.
Another negative is that the walls and ceilings are pretty thin. You can literally hear the people above you flusing the toilet, closing cabinet doors and coughing.
My neighbor above me also called animal control and tried to have my cat taken away just because he was outside and she then complained to the rental office. Apparently it's against the law to let your cat out. Shortly after that we got nailed for an extra pet fee. The pet fees are outrageous and you have to be very careful here with your pets because there seem to be some people who don't like animals and complain and then you have to live in fear that your animal will disappear.
Interestingly, this person who complained about my cat roaming outside kept us awake night after night chasing her loud puppy from room to room and running her vaccuum at 3 am. because of mess he made and also left the puppy for hrs. barking while she was gone.
You have to deal with idiots in any apt. complex. That's a big drawback.

Overall, the place is safe from what I can see, decent sized rooms, etc. However, you will have to pay out the ear for your pets, deal with the noise through the walls and the office staff coming in your home when they feel like it. You don't feel like it's your home. At least I don't. We actually would have signed on for another year had it not been for the inspections but I can't deal with the home invasions and complete lack of common courtesy from the staff. The staff is also pretty rude and unprofessional.

My advice, look around a little more. There are townhouses for about the same price, with more space and more privacy. That's what we're doing now. Good luck.
