Decent place for starting out & great location

Not sure I'd have as crumby a review as past residents. Have had a few issues with the condition of the building - weight support of railings on the balcony are probably a building code violation; I know some of the electrical wiring is for sure! If you have kids or pets, this could be an issue. This place was definitely put up quickly without much attention to detail. Toilet cracked and overflowed once while I was out of town, but maintenance addressed this as an emergency while I was away and I never had any fall out from it (neighbors downstairs weren't too happy). Maintenance staff is very courteous. Lighting of public areas was dim when I first moved in, but has been addressed ten fold - you could play baseball in the parking lot at midnight! Some traffic noise from Prince William Parkway and kids usually playing in the evenings and on weekends in the parking lot. Occassionally you get the less than desirable neighbor with the booming bass or salsa music in their car, but it is tolerable. Have to compete for the prized parking spots by the buildings, but there is still always a place to park. I've never had an issue with the staff - they've always been very nice and helpful. All in all, the problems you would anticipate living in an apartment complex. If you don't want to hassle with a maintenance issue, noise from next door neighbors, or fight for a prime parking spot, buy a house!
