Not Worth It for Woodbridge

Note to management...
This is Woodbridge, not Fairfax.
It never ceases to amaze me how high the rent is at Dominion Lake Ridge. We have lived here for four years, and the rent has gone up about 35%. $1260 in this area is outrageous. Brand new aparments are going up near Rippon for less. Dominion continues to raise the rent even with several vacant units in the community.
The office staff was great in the beginning. Sadly, things have deteriorated rapidly with the departure of Ruby and later Trece.
The aparments have nice floorplans, and it is quite unusual to have vaulted ceilings on the first floor. However, the finishing touches leave much to be desired. We have had numerous problems with the appliances, carpet, and linoleum. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, not to mention the windows. They are so poorly constructed that water and dust gets in, and the sills are constantly in need of cleaning.
Sometimes, it's difficult to reach someone in the office as they are under-staffed. Forget about them returning phone calls. Maintenance is slow (didn't use to be). Snow removal is basically non-existent.
Lack of parking and noise within the community can be annoying. Also, the fitness center is a joke.
I would not recommend Dominion Lake Ridge.
