Okay, no outgoing mail slot, that's the best you can come up with' have you seen the rent/mail slot by the front door to the office' Just curious. We just moved out of Lake Ridge, because we work in DC. Yes, the commute is long, but people who lease do have options. Read your lease, everyone, please. There is a clause called the Early Lease Termination Addendum. We used it, it does let you out of your lease. Read the legally binding agreement before you sign it. A lot of the things mentioned here in these reviews could be solved if you do. Maintenance requests...the lease says put it in writing. Um, if I interrupted you in the middle of your work day, how likely are you to remember to buy stamps on your way home, for example' If you had put it in writing, it would get done. That's what worked for me, drop off a request in that handy rent/mail slot on your way to work and it's done when you get home. Problem solved. Lighting...the only thing that I can say about the lighting is that it was sometimes hard to sleep because it is SO BRIGHT!!!!!! I don't know about you, but parking was not an issue for us. As for the office staff, I have never met a more pleasant pair. And believe me, moving across the country to rent an apartment sight unseen, we were high maintenance from the start, but we never felt like we were forgotten about or ignored. Ever. I also have one last question for all those people who say the construction is poor, there isn't enough cabinet space, not enough storage, poorly designed layout, etc...IF YOU DIDN"T LIKE IT WHEN YOU TOOK THE TOUR BEFORE YOU MOVED IN, WHY DID YOU MOVE IN!'!' I'm sorry, but you have absolutely no reason to complain about the looks of the apartment when this is the apartment that YOU CHOSE! Get over it, it's not the ritz, but it's not the ghetto. Let's face it when you live in an apartment, there are always going to be issues with neighbors who are three inches away from you, and you don't have control over everything, but having people like Jamie that want to help and make your home a happy one, you can stop sweating the small stuff.
