I came here from a very small town where two bedroom/2 bath was $525. Our rent now is almost triple that. I knew it would be because of the area, but I did expect a few amenities to go along with the high price. I love all the windows in my apartment and I live in the back so parking is not an issue. I do think the apartments are very small and very old. The walls are very thin and the air conditioning is extremely loud, but at least it works. The office staff has always been hospitable, however, they do tend to forget things. I did read my lease and now I put all requests in writing which seems to solve that problem. The fitness cennter is non-existent and though there is a pool, it's rarely open when it's supposed to be. The "lifeguards" or whatever they are smoke and talk on their cell phones the whole time which can ruin the experience for small children. I haven't had a problem with neighbors or unruly teenagers. I notice them hanging out at the playground, but really they haven't caused a problem to me. The lighting is terrible. I work late hours and my apartment is by the woods, so I wish there was more. Overall, it's not a terrible place to live, but definitely way overpriced for what you get.

I think Dominion Lake Ridge Apartments especially the Office Staff is very unprofessional. They are ripping people off left and right. The Apartments raised the rent $157.00 a month and expect people to give a 60 days notice. I don't even know what I will be doing work wize, personal life or being alive, in 60 days, but they expect you to give written notice before leaving, or "Bam" raises your rent! Contract? 60 days? Please...Needs to be revised. I would not reccommend anyone to deal with this sort of mess! The market now? Get out of the apartments and pay mortgage for get renting!
