These apartments are very overpriced, and prices are still rising. For the cost you would expect much more. I've lived on the backside of the apartments for 15 months facing the drainage pond, near the office. From there I dont witness many of the problems that neighbors have had, but have had many problems myself.
Within the apartment the bath tub faucet leaks, the caulk around the tub was installed poorly so water leaks through it to under the tub and out onto the floor, The clothes washer leaks. I used the outdoor faucet once and the water on the ground leaked through the foundation. The dishwater also doesnt drain, maintance came and looked at it, told us they would replace it, and then never came back.
The first week there a box of coats was stolen from the storage closet on the outside. A friend's apartment in the building next to ours was broken into TWICE!
Another friend was mugged leaving our apartment in the parking lot, by another resident that lived in the same building.
Trash builds up regularly into a pile by the trash compacter, which isnt big enough to serve all the apartments. Parking availablity is ok, but the parking spaces are painted crooked so parking any vechicle other than a coupe or a mid-size and your vechicle is very likely to get scratched by another door (mine was). The grounds are covered in dog poo everywhere, all the way out to the street and down the sidewalk towards the nearby park, and trashbags for dog owners are located near most of the open areas, but they arent used much.
The office staff changes every 3-4 months. They are nice, but don't do much to improve the complex.

As I read everything written here I have a few things to say. First of all No Apartment is safe you always need to remember that. i can say one thing Dominion middle ridge is one of the safest placest i've ever lived in. Yes they have problems but what place doesn't. the office staff has changed but they try their best. they always have a smile on there faces and will to help you out.
