My Wife and at the time 9mos old son lived at Dominion Middle Ridge for 3 months. The short term lease was a good option for us as we were between homes after a fast sale of our VA house. After only three months in Dominion I can say I could no way recommend living there. After a nightmare with the complex changing the apartment we would live in at literally the last minute, we had to pay more to have the "upgraded kitchen option".. uhuh. The carpets would make a homeless person frown to have them in their cardboard box home, and the crime in the place is just horrible. In the three months we were there my brand new truck was sideswiped in the parking lot causing $4k in damages, the apartment across the hall didn't have dogs so it got broken into, and a woman's car was stolen! It took a week for Dominion to fix teh gentleman's door across the hall after the break in!! My son had skin rashes the whole time we lived in the place we assume from whatever lived in the carpet.
Grounds keeping other than mowing the lawns was non existant. Dog poo.. ugh. We have two 50lb labs.. and never left a doodoo for others to discover.. you'd think the apt would help take care of the other messes their residents left!
For apartments that advertise as "luxury apartment homes" the new equipment such as laundry machines etc. is absolutely bottom shelf, builders grade junk. Loud, innefficient trash.
The sliding door to the "balcony" was never fixed even though their managers pointed out the problem to us when we moved in!
The Comcast Cable representative at Dominion also must have had some type of brain aneurism soon after we moved in as we are STILL to this day.. 6 mos. after we moved in there.. fighting to get our old accounts figured out.
Truely, honestly, look hard for another place if you can. We waited til the last minute when selling our home and regreted being stuck with Dominion very soon after we moved in there.
