I rented there and within 5 days had to leave because of a mold infestastion. Me and my family have been removed for 5 weeks and counting and have not recieve any compensation and we had to pay our rent. We are now not being honored the speacial because they decide that anyone on the voucher programs through HUD should pay more for the rent than poeple who have a higher income. I was told that I would have to move so that they can repair my apartment by the 17 of December and I recieve no compensation. I was told that my apartment tested positive for mold spores. I have a one year old and a two year old and they want a Christmas tree but the moldy apartment has ruined their spirits. Get a mold test.

Maybe you shouldn't rely on HUD to pay your rent. If you can't pay for an affordable apartment, why do you have 2 kids? Besides, you said you still had to pay your rent, but that's not true since HUD is paying your rent. You should be thanking the government (and taxpayers) for paying your rent. Find a new apartment and buy those kids a Christmas tree too. And by the way, It's "THEIR" not there.

Unfortunately, HUD only pays 55% when you are working fulltime and part-time and are under poverty guildlines. They advertise the apartment for $995.00 for a two bedroom and would give a month free, but if your are on a housing program you the two bedroom is $1432.00 (the fair market fair)and you don't get the special move in discount, so I was told to pay $992.00. Of course 17th generation Americans like myself must have worked and payed taxes too. Any tax payer or citizen that qualifies for a prepaid federal benefits (social security, food stamps, etc.) is entitled to all federal programs. Unfortunately, thats the law. Thanks for correcting my spelling. By the way ,can "Anonymous" sometimes means that a apartment employee. Just a thought.
