First off, the apartments are not brand new. That is a given when you walk into the leasing office to sign the paperwork. However, that does not mean all of the units are in complete disarray. My unit had a few cracks in the walls and spots on the carpet, but I did have a newer stove and fridge compared to where I lived before in Lorton. The walls are very thin but that is to be expected in apartments in Woodbridge, trust me. There was a recent armed robbery in the parking lot that was followed by a promise of police patrol, which never happened. The parking is so-so. If you get home around 7pm, it may be tough finding a spot really close to your building but the complex is small. The staff did change almost every month it seemed but they were always very nice. A plus side to this community is that there are not a lot of children. Kids and especially teenagers always cause trouble in apartment places but most of the children that live here are young and keep to themselves. There is a nice park right behind the complex that turns into a spanish hangout at night. The janitors are friendly and do what they can to keep the grounds clean. For the price, it is a low key, nice complex. I know that other apartments may be a little cheaper, but there is usually a wait and lots of teens and crime.
