Longview, operated by Southern Management, is BY FAR the worst apt community we have ever lived in. We have lived here for 2 yrs and until now never been harassed by the rent-a-cops. The only decent one among them is the female LT. We live in a section known withint the community as "the Court". Neither we nor our neighbors have ever given Longview reason to complain about us. We and our neighbors watch out for one another's kids, homes and autos. We have several law enforcement employed tenants as well. The riff-raff that lives elsewhere in Longview knows to stay out of "the Court". The rent-a-cops this evening were rude and harassing adults. They stated that there is a curfew in the community - no one out after dark. These GROWN PEOPLE were simply standing outside talking - no drugs, no alcohol - causing NO TROUBLE.

Lately, Longview & Southern Management have been harassing everyone with the most ridiculous rules. Based on the notice that's been going around, we can pay to live here but cannot sit outside nor can our children play outside unless it's in our little "back yards". In actuality, if you read the rules more closely, they pretty much say you can pay to live here but you & your family must stay within the four walls of your home. HOW ABSURD IS THAT. You would think that Longview & Southern Management would want potential tenants to see that most neighbors socialize and get along well here.

We're moving out in Sept and cannot wait to be rid of this sorry company. I've had several people ask me about living here when they've seen the parking decal in my car window. I tell them under no circumstances would I recommend moving here.

If you are going to treat your tenants like problem causing thugs, that is eventually all you're going to have living here.

I agree about the rules. I laughed out loud and was glad to be moving. They offer money to recommend them to other people. They can keep their money, I would never do that to anyone!!!!
