We lived in Orchard Mills apartments for a year. We always paid our rent on time, most of the time 3-5 days in advance. No one ever complained about us and we caused no trouble. Whenever we had problems with the teenagers riding skateboards through the halls, we were told that nothing could be done about the noise or anything until we wrote a letter of complaint. What good will that do when it is going on right now'' Then because they lost some of our paperwork and had a big inspection coming up, they insisted that we resign the papers. My husband told them that he was working late hours and would be happy to meet them when he got home to sign the paperwork because it was dealing with his income, not mine. Instead they came to me and threatened me with kicking me out if I didn't sign the papers. I signed them even though it wasn't concerning my income at all. So....... when it came time to renew our lease, we called to ask if we could go month to month because we were looking for a new place. At this time we were told that they were not renewing our lease because we called corporate on them and said bad things about them! We did call corporate and complain that the staff was not doing what it was suppose to do but this childish remark is just pathetic! So if you want to deal with teenagers riding skateboards through the halls, throwing balls in the parking lot and being loud without the manager doing anything about it or if you want to deal with childish staff members then yes rent here!

well thats kinda wierd i live here myself never had problems dont think the office staff is childIsh. Atleast they were trying to correct your file so you can live here!!!! also the close at 5 PM HOW DO U EXPECT THEM TO MAKE TIME FOR YOUR HUSBAND ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO MAKE TIME!!!! IF YOU WANT TO LIVE HERE!! THATS CHILDISH! AS LONG AS YOU REPSECT THEM THEYLL RESPECT YOU. ALSO FOR LEGAL PURPOSES THEY NEED LETTER OF COMPLAINT SO IF THE POLICE IS CALLED THEY HAVE PROOF OF YOUR COMPLAINT THAT ACTUALLY HELPS YOU OUT MORE DONT YA THINK!! LIKE FOR EXAMPLE POLICE OFFICER WHEN THEY LOCK YOU UP THEY DO PAPERWORK FOR PROOF OF YOUR LOCK UP DUH!!! CALLING COOPERATE FOR YOUR MISTAKE IS CHILDISH I THINK I WOULD BE EMBARRESED TO WRITE THIS DOWN AND LET EVERYBODY SEE. IM MEAN COME ON IF YOU WORKED UNTILL 5 WOULDNT YOU WANT TO LEAVE RIGHT AT 5. YOU WOULD STAY????????

The apartment rating is used as a tool to help renters fine a place to live not to hash out problems that apparently some renters can't conform to Orchard Mills policies. You are correct by saying that you should contact the corporate office with TRUE complaint. Please keep in mind that rules are set for your benefit and Orchard mills. To all readers, Please feel free to read through the rating that Orchard mills have received you will understand that all places have rules. I am sorry that your time here has not been a good one. I hope for the best in your near future.

Also, keep in mind that apartment ratings specifically states that no employee of the complex should be posting on here. Therefore, the above statements in response to the original response are all bias because they are employees of Orchard Mills.

Please keep in mind that the rating is based on opinions not actual facts. Well educated readers will understand that what one puts into writing is a strong tool in itself. Excuse me but...there is a difference b/w rules and just being flat out wrong and disrespectful. And yes, this is a place to vent whatever we want. This way, people can see before hand what they are about to get themselves into. So if this means "lashing out" then so be it.

belle: sure managers can post here dumba$$, if you learned how to read you wouldve saw "Manager Reply" and yes you should write your experience, but this site is called what? apartment ratings.. not imahating-------.com i think someone took a biiiig $hit in your head if i was your landlord i wouldve just kicked your brainless a$$ out. if you buy a car and they want paperwork you just not gonna bring it cuz they already verified with your job? im sorry but you hella dumb. we handle $hit ourselves were im from.. maybe next time you handle those kids yourself if you are n adult.. haha

They told you nothing could be done? I think that you are a big fat liar. I used to see staff talking to kids about their stupidity because the parents rather get high or whatever they may do. Since I used to be a resident, I really doubt your full comment. Sorry
