I have only lived in this complex for a few months, and have had a fairly good experience. All the neighbors are friendly, the equipment in the apartment has been faultless (except the heater, which maintainence came to fix quite a few times...seems to be working fine now). The neighborhood, although a bit shady from nearby Bayvue, is not nearly as bad as some others on this site would make it out to be, and even being a young woman, I feel perfectly safe walking the complex alone at night. My only complaints are 1)having a maintenance guy try to give me a lecture (I pay your salary friend, you are here to provide me with a service), and 2)having been threatened with eviction multiple times because of screwups in the office. That is a really good way to make your tenants feel unwanted, and you are shooting yourselves in the foot by scaring off your customers in that manner. Other than those few incidences, and a general distaste for the lack of effort on the part of the office staff, I have nothing but praise to offer this community. My favorite thing about the place is how pet-friendly they are, providing designated dog-walking areas, mutt mitts and trash cans for waste disposal. I am also very pleased with the parking situation. I never have trouble finding a space close to my building.
