First, to break your lease in this place is insane!

60 day noticed required.
2 month termination fee.
Plus, if you had a special rate of 900. But it was actually 925. They make you back pay the difference of those months (including the termination fee"

I lived there for 7 months. Tried to break...cost me 3,000 about 100 less than if I would have stayed in the apartment.

The homeless man that everyone talks about. 100% true. I've seen him many mornings sleeping in the hall way.

Air conditioning..just buy a fan..works about the same.

Washer/Dryer units..flood, ruin your cloths.

Management. They don't care. Won't work with you. They seem friendly, but they will lie to your face.

I'm actually thinking about going to immigration to verify if some of there employees have green cards....

If you break the lease at any rental property, you will get a lot of fines. Some places require you to pay the full rest of your term as well as additional fees in order to break your lease.

60 days is the norm for termination notice at many properties. Your original lease contract would also have had this information in it - this is why we should always READ contracts before signing them and complaining about them later.

If the Washer and Dryer unit ruined your cloths(sic), did you call maintenance and have it looked at? Did you call your renter's insurance and have them replace your ruined clothing? If not, WHY?

No reply.... interesting. Renting requires knowledge, saavy and smarts on the part of the owner and renter. If you don't have renters insurance, all your paperwork and cover your bases, you're asking for it.
