Good place at a good price

I agree with ArmyRecruiter. I've been there almost two years and haven't had any problems. I have plenty of places to park, and there's plenty of lighting.
When I moved in, my apartment was clean and in good condition. I've never had any bugs in my apartment, and they spray about once a month (I know because they put up notices and I can smell it in the hallways).
The grounds are always well-kept, they just made a lot of improvements, new signs, redid all the hallways in the buildings, etc.
Recently, my washer started leaking, I called the office and they came and installed a brand new unit the very next day while I was at work.
In all, the price is reasonable. You can get a 1-bedroom unit for around $900-1000, which is cheap around here. It is close to I-95, VRE, and shopping.

You are a hateful disgruntled person. Last time I checked I didn't see any dead people in the hallways from all the poison. You would complain if they just let things be. If you really are in the service, which I am too, you would have a little more class and not bash our own. The hallways look just fine, they are clean, nice warm colors and do not smell like poison.

Poison? Are you kidding me? Poison? How would the company possibly benefit from poisoning its tenants? They make money off of people living there. You can't honestly think they sit in the office and think up ways to piss the tenants off do you? Sad.

CplsChickie, You completely missed my point. I said what you smell is poison, not that the staff wants to kill you. I don't think they ponder ideas to piss the tenants off; I just think they are too lazy to care about making their tenants happy. I was blatantly lied to by the office staff, not to mention the maintinence sucks. Thank God they're not getting any more of my money. |

bdm_girl- I don't live there. I moved. And, oh my God!! I offended you? I'm soooo sorry. I don't know what service you're in, but in mine you have to put in a package and request to be a recruiter. Only the $hit bags want the job too, so they can sit on their a$$es behind a desk. No, I won't do a recruiting tour. I aspire to do more in my career. By the way, I'd like to see you tell me to shut the F*** up in person without hiding behind a keyboard. |

BotsnM8 - You may need to put in for recruiting duty in the Navy, but in the Army (and as far as I'm aware, in the other services as well), the active duty recruiters are involuntarily pulled to become recruiters. They are sent on recruiting tours of 3 years and can be extended as recruiters at any time whether they want it or not. So before you go about mouthing off about how recruiters are this or that, maybe you need to actually see who they are and what they do. It's quite obvious you have a totally wrong idea of what recruiters do. "So they can sit on their asses behind a desk." Well, maybe the Navy sits on their asses (although, for that they seem to be in and out of the office an awful lot), but the majority of their time, recruiters are out pounding the pavement meeting people in strip malls, high schools, at weekend events, etc. They don't get weekends off because they have to attend functions in the local community. That 4th of July parade you get off to spend with your family? They work having a booth there. And it's not voluntary - it's whoever's appointed to be there. And unlike many (most, unless you're deployed) jobs in the military, this is no 9 to 5 gig. More like 7 am until 9pm most days. 6 days a week. I still stand by what I said - if you don't know what you're talking about, you should be quiet. As they say, A Closed Mouth Gathers no Feet, and all you're doing is making yourself sound very ignorant indeed. And, of course, again, I fail to see what recruiters have to do with living here and apartment reviews in the first place. Basically your argument is that hey, this person can't possibly be telling the truth about living here because they are a RECRUITER. Heaven forbid you might acknowledge that recruiters are people and not all people are the same. I'm sure there are some scumbag Botswainsmates out there as well - would you like me to generalize and say that they (and by extention you) are all worthless losers and do nothing but scam off all day? Of course not. |
