A Tenant Scorn

After writing a nice review, my views have changed since I've been here. At one time, we had three vehicles (renting 2 bedroom apartment). Belmont wanted to charge us an additional $95.00 a month just for an extra parking sticker. Guess how much it is to rent a garage... $100.00 a month. Simply retarted. Despite this, they let motorcycles and trailors occupy whole spaces for long periods at a time. Thier defense is: the motorcycles are supposed to be parked "in front" of the vehicle. They don't enforce this, but have no problem towing your car/truck. Too bad for them, I have actual pictures/dates/conversations to prove this and I'm going to take them to small claims court to recoup some of my towing fees.
My stance on the adequecy of facilities/maintenance staff haven't changed; still top notch.
The new manager is very nice but they need to bring back the old co-manager, Rheanna. The new one is EXTREMELY rude and has no problem telling customers that they're wrong.
Short term, it's okay to live here, but my family is ready to leave. Also, Belmont has such a problem w/ getting people in here that they've resorted to letting in very ghetto/white trash clients, who have no problem disrepecting shared/outdoor space.

Why does it sound like you are the manager of this complex? Why get mad at something so....simple. Unless you have emotions wrapped up in it. I would suggest you not make accusations that you don't know the truth behind. It's really unbecoming and you only make yourself out to be the bad guy. If you think the place is great that's fine, but don't get mad at other people just because their experience has been worse than yours. There allowed to voice there opinions just as much as you are.
P.s. I wouldn't suggest putting your apartment number up on the site. Even a respectable site is visited by sick-o's, no one can know for sure what kind of person(s)their service is catering to.

LOL I would agree that markl0124 does sound like some body involved with management. If we had good experience than we would be telling every body as honesty is the best policy and nobody wants to tell others how badly they got screwed. One other thing is that worst part of experience at Belmont comes in the picture is when it???s time to leave and how they slaughter their tenants with dubious charges that no body will ever charge you. This comes from a military family who has been living in apartments for 15 years with no issues what so ever beside the great Belmont and York. If they want to rip off customers than we the previous tenants will speak the truth in front of world. It???s just a shame how some bigger corporations think so little of their customers. Markl0124 ???if??? you truly are only a tenant not management than wait till you move out than you can prove us wrong.

If this place is your idea of a nice place to live, then your standards are pretty darn low. As far as some of the points made in this post, it seems obvious that the person writing it is happy. Good for him! I didn't want to live there, but some people might be heavy sleepers with a dubious sense of clean and friendly service.

In answer to both, I've lived in Cali apartments my whole life and these truly are the nicest apartments that I've lived in. Maybe it's because i'm on the third floor that I don't have any of the mentioned noise/pest problems. I posted this because I wanted to give prospective tenants my family's honest feedback. Of course, the majority of people are willing to critique when thier experience has been bad... nobody wants to take the time to say "good job." I have every intention of revisiting this post when we move out (Oct '08) and adding my comments, however, I've heard from multiple people that the management does screw you over when time to move out. I'll let you know.

Well after reading all the post, I think I'll pass on this apartment complex as a prospective tennant. Thank you for all your honest opinion; it has really helped me in avoiding this place. It looked good in the advertisement picture but just the "mean and deceitful" management team alone is enough to deter any prospective tenant. Down with the current manangement! Let me know if anybody wants to toilet roll their car or something. lol

I lived there also,3 yrs. ago.I am a painter by trade and when I moved out I repainted the entire place. It was not painted entirely when I moved in.It looked great, when I moved out, alot better than it did when moving in. They still nit picked until they got most of my deposit money! I had no idea what they kept most of the money for!
I bought a new car one evening after office hrs. and that night my new car was towed and so was another womens the very same night as she bought one also.
Visitor passes were also a problem for me.I understand the need for them but if you did not make it by the office by a certain time....your guest may find themselves with no transpertation the next morning. The passes ran out after 2 days I think. The way it was set up was just was too much work for me.
The positive side is I loved my apartment on the 3rd floor in the back.I did enjoy my stay there and the grounds were well kept. For the most part it was very quiet and they kept a close watch on who was suppose to be there and who was not.
