My husband and I moved here after breaking a lease with another apartment nearby that we had for just three days (conditions were deplorable). Belmont was very understanding of our need to find a place ASAP and we were able to move in the next day after seeing the complex. We found three very minor issues with the apartment when moving in, and they were fixed the same day we reported them, by a very polite, professional maintenanceman.

The one negative feature is a poor design for the plumbing. Every time my upstairs neighbor flushes the toilet, it sounds like a pipe is bursting in the master bedroom- very loud rushing water sound. I suppose I will get used to it, but it's made me feel bad for the people below me when I flush my own toilet.

Also, I get the feeling that management is probably pretty -----retentive about damages, so on my move-in sheet, I noted every scratch, knick, chipped paint mark I could find. I suggest other tenants do the same.

I also want to add that I saw where other reviewers complained about bugs. Belmont is in a fairly wooded area. As long as there are woods around, there will be bugs- no matter where you live. As long as they aren't cockroaches or an ant invasion, a few bugs shouldn't be a big deal.

The apartment is very spacious with HUGE closets and the amenities are great. I think we will have a nice stay.
