Worst experience yet!

Let me start by saying, I read these reviews before I ever rented from Belmont. Unfortunately, I assumed they were just tenants that wanted revenge for personal reasons. Please don't make the same mistake we did! There are so many problems with the apartments and management that I really don't know where to start. I'll just go down the list. First of all, as many others have already said before me, YES-roaches are huge problem in this complex as are silver fish. They are all over the place outside and when you go out of your apartment at night, there are so many some times that they don't even scatter as bugs sometimes do. It really is disgusting and yes they do/will get in your apartment too. The noise is also just as bad as people have said, you can hear everything that your neighbors do in their apartments and in the stair wells. I would expect that from an average apartment, but not a supposed "luxury" apartment. As a matter of fact, I have lived in some average apartments that the noise was never a problem and neither were roaches. The staff is terrible, they think if they smile and act nice that makes it ok when they rip you off. Some of my neighbors have even told me that they will tell lies to cover up for their own mistakes-all at your expense! Maintenance staff is nice, but since they work for the management, they really have no control over what/when they will fix your problems when you do (and you will) have something brake. Also, the grounds are filthy, from duck feces all over the grounds (some areas are really bad-like near the mailboxes), to garbage not cleaned in the hallways or parking lot! The water they use in the sprinkler system emits a foul odor and I am convinced that it is unhealthy to breath-not to mention half the sprinklers are broke and just jetspray directly in your path on your way into the apartment. Parking is ok if you don't work or get home before 3pm, but forget it after that. Some of our neighbors have had damage to their vehicles in the parking lot and management of course does not even care, there was even one neighbor who drove a jeep and had a spare tire stolen, but again management is no help. So I guess that tells you how secure the area is. Yes, it is private property but management just looked at them and said "sorry, we don't know anything and we can't help (interpretation: won't help) you". I live on the second floor, and I won't even go on my balcony, because the construction is questionable and oh yeah, by the way, the roaches are out there too... We have never NOT gotten our deposit back, or had any problems living in or moving out of any of our previous complexes, but I can tell you-not only do I not expect to get the outlandish deposit back, but after rereading these post, I expect some additional outlandish charges. I have never been scared to move out of a place because I do take good care of my homes, and even go the extra step when cleaning, but I have to admit I'm scared to move out of Belmont, just read the other experiences people have had. I now know better than to think they are just after revenge. I now know they just want people to hear them and hope to save some from their horrible experiences. Do yourself a favor, having a little extra room is not worth not being happy in your home!
