I've lived at Yorkshire Downs for over 2 years now, and there have been some improvements, but more are needed. The apartments are quite nice, but may not be the best value for the money. Up until recently, the maintenance staff was lacking to say the least, but both maintenance people have been replaced and the new ones seem to be much better. Walls need sound-proofing between apartments, the fitness center is tiny and needs to be replaced or expanded. The business center is great with high speed internet and a fax machine, but is frequently closed due to to teenagers from the surrounding neighborhood getting in there-Security measures need to be taken instead of denying use to paying residents. If this became a gated community with a little bit better security, if the management would ENFORCE the leases as it pertains to noise, if some soundproofing were put in between the units, and if the landscaping were upgraded, this place would be a 5 star complex-or close. But I doubt these things will ever happen, I would definately check out Falcon Creek down the road. It's only 2 miles away, is brand new and seems to be a much better value.
