One of best complexes in York County

Yes, there are newer, better complexes just down the road -- in Hampton. BUT, if you want your kids to be in THE BEST school district in the area (York County Schools) there aren't that many apartment choices. YCSD has BOTH: consistently high parent ratings AND state acheivment test socres. Other nice (not run down) apartments in York County are the "Belmont" and "Clairmont" (not same company as Dom. Yorkshire Downs) but their office staffs were snooty and rude. We have yet to have a problem (with BUGS or maintenance and office staff) since we moved here in spring of 2005. Overall, for the area, this has been a good value with friendly staff! Other pluses: Strip mall w/ restaurants, shipping store, tailor, ballet school, & gas station with convenience store is right across the street; YCSD buses drive right into the complex to pick up and drop off kids; AND a full grocery store less is than a mile away. NOTE: For those of you who DID have bug problems, it may have been neighbors not keeping their place clean! I've had the same problem at other apartments. You can have your place treated all the time, but if your next-door neighbor that you share walls/floor with is INVITING roaches, flies, and ants with old food & trash, you will unfortunately continue to have bug problems!
