I'm in the Air Force and came here on Tuesday to find an apartment and was told that there was a special on a 2 bedroom 2 bath where I wouldn't have to pay fees if I moved in right away and with the price I jumped at it and started the process. However, when doing my checklist through the apartment I found mold growing over the master bedroom door, spiders and beetles in the spare bedroom, hall bathroom toilet was leaking constantly running up the water bill, the mirror was missing the magnet, there was a "Made in China" sticker on the bathroom wall showing they never even painted after the last tenant moved out, I was missing a shelf in the closet, there was comet cleaner spilt in the kitchen cabinet, a hair clump stuck in the hall bathroom sink, there was water dripping from the range over the stove top and the right rear gas burner wouldn't ignite (allowing gas to fill the room), and I was missing 2 window screens and I was told that it would be fixed right away, but it was not. To start with the moisture problem in the master bedroom was painted over and I was told it was fixed, but they never fixed the problem, they simply covered it up and called it good and they never even used anything to clean the possible mold first. I was then told that my problems were minor after they cut off the water to my hall toilet due to it running and it would be some time next week before I can get stuff fixed. State Law gives them 5 days and when I told them this they said it would all be done by Monday morning and so I'm still waiting to see that done. The management treated me like an idiot and lied like they stole something, cause technically they did, my money for rent on an apartment that I can't even move into with all the problems. Never Never Never go there and if you do I wish you the best of luck in getting everything resolved because even their head management office downtown treated me like crap and evaded all Virginia Laws dealing with apartment codes and without a lawyer there is nothing I can do. I repeat never go here unless you want a headache, cause thats all I have since I've been here and I haven't even moved a single thing into the place. Its crap all around, I don't think I can state that enough!!!

Be careful when you move out. We are military and moved out last summer. They didnt charge us any deposit moving in but NAILED us going out. The place was left spotless and we were charged over 300!!!!
