Wish We Looked Around Better

My husband and I cannot stand living here. First off, if you have a dog be prepared to have to carry him/her to the designated pet area or the leasing lady who is constantly on dog poop duty will be sure to stop you and lecture you if your pet happens to use the restroom anywhere besides that area. They changed the weight limit during the few months we have lived here for pets from 45lbs to 60lbs after seeing our puppy and telling us we were lying about the breed and he would be too large. You can't leave your blinds open to get some sun with out feeling that the workers are driving by staring in your home. If anything does happen to go wrong with your apartment you have to contact the front office numerous times to get anyone to come help. Our neighbors washer broke, took them a month to come out and fix it after they constantly called. Our front door doesn't seal (still doesn't even after they "fixed" it) we had to call them 5 times till someone came. If it will cost them anything in the long run (ie gas smells) they come with in seconds of course. Don't waste your time keep looking there are better apartments for less money where you don't feel like they're hassling you. And if you happen to live here make sure its upstairs, if not all summer long you'll be fighting the cockroaches (oh sorry Palmetto bugs) out of your place and can't do anything with out thinking the person above you is going to fall through the ceiling.

Finally some honest people are talking about the real things that are happening here. I feel like I am hassling them everyday because my windows don't open, or my front door doesn't seal either and the bugs, well they are awful. I had read all the good reviews, moved in and now I hate it.

When we first looked at the rating to these apartments, it was at 100% so I thought we were in the clear of a bad place. I guess we were wrong.

My friend lives in Pines Of York, and she doesn't have bug problems at all, I'm not sure about the fixing issues though. I guess she got the GOOD apartment.
