Do not live here or 17 W. Broad! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/15/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   Like everyone says, Genessis is AWFUL, and the manager is well RUDE. She(H. Thurston) never calls you back and rarely lives up to her word! Lawyers always seem to be a good threat to this CO. though! I loved my apartment itself, but you could hear everything from the side, above, and below. The area is getting better, and I loved the layout, but it is not worth the trouble you have to go through to get anything done. I wrote about 23' emails and called almost everyday before my apartment was actually fixed! I had a huge hold in my wall for almost 2 months, a water heater that you could only take a warm shower for a max of 8 mins, walls that paint was falling, and water leaks! I had friend that lived in 27 W. Broad (I lived in 17 W. Broad) and they had the same problems with me, esp. with management. I would never live under this CO. again, and if you plan to live there, get a lawyer on a speed dial to get anything done!
