We thought this place was luxurious until we lived here. Kids constantly run through the halls screaming,(like the inside of the halls and elevators are a playground) the appliances are the cheapest that money can buy for a supposed "luxury" apartment complex and the customer service is extremely poor and unprofessional. The construction seems good at first however the entire building shakes everytime someone slams a door or runs across the floor-If you do not want to hear your neighbors constantly, this is not the place for you. The property maintenance is hit or miss. Some portions of the landscaping are completely done but other areas are still apparently under construction. Overall, the apartment is overpriced for Vermont. Heat and hot water are included in the rent which helps somewhat but parking is extra and the supposed deal they have with the cable company doesn't offer any real discount. It does, however, prevent you from bundling your services to get discounts. Parking is over 80 a month for one car, which is extremely high. Most luxury apartments offer free parking unless they are located in a downtown area, which Winooski is not. The "garage" itself is not secure and anyone can easily walk into it as it is completely open to the outside and one of the levels is so open that snow can pile on your car depending one which spot it is parked in. While our building doesn't allow dogs (only cats), the newest building does. This, however, has the downside of large piles of dog excrement on some of the sidewalks. Although some of the owners make an effort to clean up after their pets, others do not and it ruins it for all which is sad.
Overall, the apartments look much nicer on their website than they do in after living in them for a while.

I lived at Keen's Crossing for 6 months and did not experience anything like the renters described above. I only moved out because a friend offered me a room at their for next to nothing. While Keen's is a bit pricy, you really won't find anything nicer in the area. Most luxury apartments offer free parking? You obviously have never lived in New York or Boston. And guess what? With our record snowfall this winter it was worth it to me not to clear 15 inches of snow off my car every week...

For the user response: In case you hadn't noticed, this ISN'T New York or Boston, so your comparison on parking is irrelevant. This is Winooski, Vermont. 85 Bucks a month for one car and 50 for each additional is freakin' ridiculous -especially when there's no on street parking over 2 hours.
I've lived in many major metropolitan areas where "luxury apartments" have free parking. (and Keen's considers themselves luxury?)
And seeing as how you didn't even finish a lease here, because you moved on to cheaper digs, well that just says it all.

Is this the evilcatlady or whomever that keeps responding to everyone's comments (the anonymous first response)These are people's comments, it helps others to know what is going on, The Truth of what is going on....you want to make a comment make ONE on your own, stop piggybacking and hiding behind everyone elses. Oh and like the other responder said, You didn't even finish the lease, what does that tell you people? and to your quote of "you have never lived in New York or Boston, would you know this about them??? Obviously NY and Boston didn't want you there either, move on. Oh wait you already did... Trust me what they wrote above is quite true Obviously there is a lot of us that are dealing with this. I am sure that it has a lot to do with the fact that they tell all of us when we move in it is a Professional Luxury Apt. when in fact it is 50 percent low income housing, it feels that we are all living in the projects. Why is it that we have to pay full price and keep up with the rules and regs, when the other people who have been tearing up the place pay far less if at all and trash the place? I am sure all the responses will be responded with sunshine and grandeur hidden behind the actual management and employees of Keen's Crossing-so when you see "My very much luxury apartment is filled with roses and smells of sweet toffee and cream" note its from the people that are trying to rent off this place. Be aware.
