We like the location! You can walk to Safeway and Haggen grocery stores, Kent Prairie Elementary School, Arlington Family Medicine, and a few other medical facilities like dentist, physical therapy, etc.

There is also a bus stop very close by with Community Transit #227 (to/from Everett Boeing), #230 (Smokey Point-Darrington), and #240 (Stanwood-Arlington). You can transfer in Smokey Point to go to Lynnwood or Everett (and onto Seattle by bus or Sound Transit train). You can very well live without a car.

Rent as of July, 2008
$800 for 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment (980 sq ft)
$800 for 2 bedroom 1.5 bath town house (974 sq ft)
$900 for 2 bedroom 1.5 bath town house (1,266 sq ft)
$1025 for 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment (1,282 sq ft)
$85 for storage (size of one car garage)

You can have up to 2 cats. Non-refundable pet fee is $500 per cat. No dog allowed.
No 6 month or one year lease. Only month to month lease.

This apartment is very popular and almost always full. In March of 2007 we took the only unit that was (sort of) available. The former tenant had just moved out that morning. We happened to be here at the right time! In July of 2008 when we tried to get an apartment for a friend nothing was available. Recommend getting on the waiting list at least five weeks before you would like to move in.

The same apartment managing company also manages South Village Apartments (360-403-7184) less than a mile away. Its location is equally great and it's new (built in 2007) but we heard their waiting list is even longer. They have one bedroom apartments which Kent Prairie Apartments don't.
