Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
I lived in Mallard Pointe from 09/2007 to 05/2008. When I first moved in the upstairs neighbor was an all night party freak. I talked to management about this situation because I had a very sick wife. Management gave them their three warnings acording to law and then they were gone. They moved a nice gentleman in and he was always quiet and courtious. Because my wife could not work and her only means of daily exercise was walking our little dog, she would stop by the office everyday and management always took the time to talk to her and try to make her feel a bit better. The evening ladies were always on top of things as much as they could. And yes at times the sauner was broken and the hot tub was down, but mostly because tennents abused them. The workout equipment was always in working order and I used it 3 or 4 times a week and never had a problem with it. As far as dog poop goes, well they had doggie bag stations for you lazy people who could not bother to carry your own bags with you. So don't blame management for what your dog did. It's not their job to walk behind you picking up your dogs mess. As for the maintance lady, well she was one of the nicest and hardest working person that I have ever met. I needed a new bathroom fan, they had to order it for me and it was replaced within a week, my refridgerator was leaking, so they bought me a new one. my dryer was making noise, again they bought me a new one. As far as calling them to get things fixed, the policy is to come to the office and sign the work order to give them permissinon to enter your apartment. Again, laziness on your part. As for the mold, well come on people it's Washington state. The wettest place in America, A little bleach and it's gone. Yes, the parking was tight, but you knew that when you moved in. There is plenty of room on the street for your second car and you did have an assigned parking space. When my wife passed away on May 12th, the entire management came to comfort me in my time of need and as for people not being friendly, well let me tell you, along with management, darn near the whole complex came to my aide to show their support. The maintance lady you so easily picked on along with her husband invited me to their apartment for dinner to make sure that I was eating and two of the tennents brought me breakfast and dinner that they took the time to prepare themselves to make sure that I was eating. So don't tell me the people there are not friendly. Management knew that I could not stay there any longer because my wife died in the apartment and let me out of my lease with no argument at all and they also sent me my entire deposit back. The whole team at Mallard Pointe in my openion are the TOPS. Maybe it's you that's the problem and not management.
