I have lived at Sherwood Gardens for about a year. In the first few months of living here it was not a pleasant place to live. I was continually calling the police or security company due to excessive noise levels. After the manager moved in to our building the noise level dropped and it is an extremely wonderful place to live. As with all apartments you have a minimal amount of typical apartment noise which is to be expected.

My husband had a problem last summer with some items being stolen out of his pickup. We never recovered the items, but a police report was filed. He just learned he was too trusting.

In the summer you don't necessarily want to live next to the pool. It is nice as far as convienence goes, but the noise levels are awful.

I love the pool being right there, however it is always dirty. They skim and vacum every morning, but it doesn't matter with the trees right there. They just drop crap into the pool. There is a very good solution to that problem, just cut down the trees around the pool. There is no more junk in the pool 5 seconds after it is cleaned and the maintenance guys have more time to work on really important issues.

Overall the place is clean and free of liter and garbage. The landscaping is old and could use a refresher. The Dogwood tree in the spring is breath taking though.

The staff and maintenance guys are fantastic. They are friendly and kind and truely care about each and every resident.

I don't really like apartment living and would like to be in my own home again; however, the staff and residents at Sherwood Gardens have been great and made it a lot easier to live in apartments.
