Personally, I REALLY LOVE living here! I have decided to extend my lease another year. There are far too many amenities offered for me to want to leave. Granted it is a bit outside of 'downtown' (even though it IS an island folks), but it takes less than 10 minutes to get to Winslow (aka Bainbridge Island's 'downtown').

Tell me .. where else on the island can you WALK to a theater, four restaurants, a convenience store, a beer/wine/coffee cafe, a spa, pay minimal rent (considering it IS Bainbridge Island we're talking about) -also, PETS ARE ALLOWED (no size limit) .. not to mention THE BEACH is right outside your doorsteps' Yeah, that's what I thought... you won't find that anywhere else on Bainbridge Island.

Ok, so the parking situation is a bit of a downfall. Yes, it's bizarre, but tolerable. And yes, the dirt parking lot does make things a little dusty but since I don't plan on living here forever I will just deal with it for now. I believe it's VERY quiet considering we are surrounded by a lot of businesses and tenants. I only had to make a noise complaint once for a rude neighbor a few months back -and my landlord clearly took care of that because I haven't heard a peep from them since.

Also wanted to mention I haven't had any reason to feel unsafe. I feel that everyone is extremely personable. And I have witnessed others looking out for each other here. I have made multiple acquaintances/friends throughout my building and am on a first name basis with a lot of the businesses surrounding the apartment complex.

I haven't had any maintenance issues since I have moved in .. so I cannot rate their timely fashion & skills -as I haven't experienced that yet. (Which should say something in itself right there!)

So, with all of this being said .. if you are high maintenance and have ridiculously high standards of living when it comes to apartment living, then no, this place & location may not be suitable for you.. otherwise I think it's a perfectly fine place to live! x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
