Beautiful building, gorgeous staff, walk from downtown Bellevue

This place is perfect for what I needed. The windows are huge & well insulated so you get no road noise at all eventhough you're a couple blocks from 405. Location is extremely convenient since the 405 entrance is right there, and you can always walk to downtown Bellevue and hit up Taphouse, Lincoln Square, Joey's (not needing a DD to get back home rocks!), Blockbuster, etc... and the rent is very competitive for what I'm getting here (the place is small but that's the whole point of a studio).

The concierge is probably the nicest girl I've met (and drop dead gorgeous to boot!). She goes out of her way to make sure I'm all set with anything I need and the staff really seems to care about the residents (I thought the balloons and cookies on my b-day were so sweet). They even rack up the pool table for us and help us work the coffee machine (how many appartments come with beautiful baristas'').

They also have movie nights weekly and dinner/movie and other social events in the building which seem pretty cool, but I haven't really taken advantage of that yet. There is also an exercise room which makes it really convenient to workout before or after work and not have to deal with packed dressing rooms at the Pro Club.

The only downside I can think of is the ridiculous parking fees ($100 per month!! $125 for second car... this is Bellevue, not Seattle so that's just outrageous especially considering it's about 12% of my rent...). Though you're not forced to pay it and I just park on the streets outside, I still think it's pretty outrageous. The new utilities company is also pretty annoying and doesn't offer any way to automatically pay online which is just inconvenient. Besides that I haven't had many problems... there is construction accross the street but I can't hear any of it from my apartment (I'm on the opposite side of the construction though).

The only thing I'd change is to have our summer concierge stay year round... it's just nice to have a beautiful smile to come home to after work :)
