This is the WORST apartment complex - seriously.

I agree with what other reviewers have expressed; in fact, in some sad way, it is funny to see that so many other people have experienced this horrible living condition.

They go through managers on a yearly basis. All are horrible. The level of disrespect that we receive from the management is amazing. We are now consulting an attorney in order to file a class-action suit against this complex.

We have documentation from the management stating that they would install our new windows by last June (?03). They claimed that it would be a two week process. The windows were finally in by March (?04). The on-site manager claimed that the city of Bellevue was being unnecessarily harsh on the complex regarding the permits to replace the windows.

But, we later found out that the management did not even file for the permits; even when pressed to tell the truth, Christina lied and said that it was the city of Bellevue that was to blame.

In August of 2003 we were promised to receive full-size washer/dryer units in our apartments. When pressed for details of when this would finally occur, we were told that this was incorrect. (keep in mind that we have in our lease that we are paying in our rent for this service) As of April 2004, we still only have the useless kitchen model that never works. We were told that perhaps next year we would receive the new units.

The attitude of the management is deplorable. We are always meant to feel as if it is our fault that nothing works.

The cabana and work-out rooms have been closed for over two years. They used the work-out room in the back for storage of construction materials. Nails and other construction materials litter the parking lots. Our neighbor already has had two flat tires due to the nails.

Maintenance issues are never resolved. The fan in our bathroom is still missing the cover. The lock on the outside storage is still missing. The garbage disposal still doesn?t work properly (five maintenance visits).

Construction noise is constant. When we go to the office to negotiate compensation for the long delays in construction, constant noise, and bad service, we always get someone that treats us like dirt. (do not be fooled when management tells you that all of the problems are from previous owners/management companies)

Please do not rent here; you will only be miserable. You may ask: why did these people stay here' Simple: moving is a hassle...you don?t want to pay another deposit...etc., etc.

You may think that the people that have told their stories here are exceptions to the rule...nope. Just not many people know of this site. My neighbor who is moving was thrilled to hear that this site exists.

Well - happy ending to the story. As of this summer, we will be OUT OF HERE!!!!!

Try Bellevue Meadows of The Gates, instead...anything else. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
