Years ago I lived in the same building I live in now, back when it was Wilshire Park. Then, no real issues. Maintenence was done quickly and professionally when needed.

Now, however, upon moving in two months ago, there are things not fixed that needed fixing on move-in day. The maintenance staff is okay, but do not make promised follow-up visits to fix things they didn't get to.

One of the things I liked was I was going to be able to get a covered parking spot right near my apartment. Yes, costing extra, but not much. Well, after they assigned me to a spot they had already assigned to someone else, I find out there are *no* available covered parking spots. When I told them that's one of the reasons I decided to lease, they gave me lip service.

Noisy neighbors. The ones above like to play their music late at night (well past midnight most nights), even on weekdays. Complaints fall on deaf ears: the offending tenants and indifferent management don't seem to care.

Oh, they'll treat you well when you're looking, but once you sign on the bottom line don't expect the management to care about anything except getting their rent check on time.
