I moved here almost two yrs ago, and am in the process of buying a home now. I posted a positive review shortly after I moved in, and my opinion hasn't changed. If you're looking for a quiet, well managed and well- maintained place to live, with very nice apartments and where the leasing company makes you feel appreciated and welcome, Avalon Bellevue is it. The office folks are wonderful; the maintenance staff ALWAYS responsive. Re a cranky review from someone who mistook Bellevue for Phoenix, get real. If you move into an apt w/southwest/western exposure, yes, like anywhere else during the summer, it can be warm. Get over it, buy some fans or A/C, you'll be fine. And yes, there are auto break-ins/thefts no matter where you live. It's called INSURANCE, and on this note, Avalon has been diligent in monitoring this activity, even posting security cameras in the garages. If I weren't buying a home, I'd renew my lease. The only thing I STILL wish they'd change...the unattractive yellow paint in the common hallways. But hey, you won't live in the hallways....:)
