we were moved here by our company which said this was an "A place' (meaning it had a pool i guess)..the best thing here is the manager..he is terrific and when something goes wrong(which it does all the time..) you get quick attention ..problems
1)MOLD..especially in the bathroom..and bleach will NOT get rid of it
2)dog barking and crap...the barking is all the time day and night..a complaint to the manager shut one dog up and another dog started..
3)tiny and airless...its teensy, squishy and there is no air circulation..its stuffy
4)tacky ..remember your 8th grade shop class and the kids who couldnt drive in a nail' well they designed and did this place..nothing lines up..the top cupboards in the kitchen dont open less u open the freezer door; i went to dust the window sills and found they were covered with cheap and tacky shelf paper!!!
5)bypass rather than fix..dw cycle doesnt work' they rewired it to bypass the energy saving cycle..so i melted some stuff; self cleaning oven doesnt work' it was rewired to bypass the self cleaner(they DID give me a new one cos my contract calls for a self cleaner..but they arent replacing them)..kitchen sprayer doesnt work' take it out..
6)DIRTY..the place smelled horrid when we moved in ..some rug deod helped that..the rugs were sorta cleaned..sorta not..the bathroom was half cleaned..there was mildew everywhere and greasy gunk on top of the stackables in the bathroom.....someone went over the place maybe in 10 minutes..i still cant get it really clean...there are dings in the kitchen floor which collect dirt and stain; molding coming off of everywhere..the doorstop was even bent;
7)BUGS..we have had the exterminator twice for giant black ants (at least they sent the exterminator out fast..i will give them that)..
8)party time..we were woken in mid week at 2am by the sound of screaming and yelling..sounded like an innercity fight..it was a 'rap music ' party upstairs..their 3rd party in 3 months mid week...they also had their radio alarm going on full blast with loud music at 6am..many mornings..again..talking to the manager stopped the parties but it shouldnt have happened at all..especially not in the middle of the week
9)noise in general..you can hear everything from the upstairs...
10)inconsiderate idiots..stand outside the one bedroom window where u are suffocating for some air..and smoke so it fills the bedroom with cigar and cigarrette smoke..
11)unfriendly...i am social..i greet people walking around the pond or the complex..out of approximately 150 people i greeted...THREE said hello back...maybe the rest were too hungover or deaf from their dogs howling all night..
i feel sorry for the management here..they are really nice and try hard..but they inherited an 18 yr old place which was NOT kept up at all..the outside needs painting and the inside needs total renovation..its hot, stuffy, dirty and noisy...and its not near anything either cept lots of microsoft buildings..we are moving out as soon as we can..
