Years at this apartment: 1991 - 1992
Me and 3-4 roomates lived there about ten years ago. From what I remember, it was a "first-timer" apartment community for a lot of young guys. Personally, I think the management acted with a lot of restraint and patience when dealing with us, even going so far as to move us to another apt. building. This was necessary because we were completely out of control. THe parties were nightly and usually went until about dawn. Cars were constantly going in and out, and several of our visitors would occasionally adjourn loudly to the pool sometimes as late as three or four in the morning. We should have all been arrested. The management finally moved us in an attempt to satisfy the man who lived below us after a series of disturbances involving a disgruntled ex-roomate who, after we had turned out all the lights and locked the doors to hide from him, urinated on our door and kicked over several of our neighbor's plants, formerly belonging to his wife who had recently succumbed to cancer. We were constantly late on the rent, had up to seven extra borders at times, and were for the most part unemployed. Both apts were rendered completely unlivable upon our departure. We were, for all intensive purposes, blacklisted from apartment life in America, and I'm sure our very existence raised the standard of apartment living at Bellevue Meadows by default. The pool is nice, and there's convenient access to a 24-hour 7-11 just up the street.
