Where should I begin'
Ah yes, the day I moved in... the place was crawling with roaches. It took about a month before they hired a guy to come in and kill them.
Then there's the "renovations" they do. Since this is located near a college, they typically have fewer residents during the summer. So guess when they make repairs and attempt to do landscaping' That's right! In the fall, when every apartment is filled.
The "repairs" they did this year included such things as applying a few fresh coats of paint to everything (including windows, viewing holes on doors, my carpet, neighbor's bikes, etc). They also chopped down several trees, opening up our apartment for all to see, and then leaving the stumps.
Our washer was totally broken from the first day we moved in. (Keep in mind, I had talked to the manager of the complex. He assured me he had gone through the apartment himself, and promised me everything was in working order).

Think that's to be expected from an apartment complex' Well then read on!

One day, an employee of the complex came to my door. Another employee had spilled a bucket of paint next to my car and some had splased onto my car. Not a big deal, because it would come right off being an oil paint. So what did Mr. Idiot do' He scratched the paint off with a steel scrubber pad! Guess how much that damage totaled to...

Let's talk about security... In the surrounding area, there has been a total of 1 theft in the past decade. This is a fact. Check the local police records. But guess what! My bike was stolen, my roommate's bike was stolen, my neighbor's car was stolen, etc, etc, etc.

I could go on and on and on about the hundreds of equally horrible things this place has done. (Power goes out when we try to use the vaccume, fridge is broken, smoke detectors don't work, windows do virtually nothing to keep the cold out, etc)
But if I can convince just one person to never live here, I've done my part!
