Good place, good management, but some things you should know...

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
I lived there for three years, and all told it was a good experience. Management was communicative and helpful, and maintainance was prompt. It's in a killer location, right across the street from Crossroads, it's got a bus stop in front of it, and the pricing is VERY reasonable. Grounds are very well maintained.
However, it is a LOW INCOME APARTMENT COMPLEX, with all that comes with. The residents are primarily elderly, immigrants, mentally disabled, or some combination of the three. There is a small student population. Noise issues are a problem, and at about 6 am every elderly person in the place is out walking through the middle of the parking lots. On misty mornings it looks like dawn of the dead.
There are no washers and dryers in unit, but every building has a laundry room (coin-op), though we had laundry stolen out of the machines on at least two occasions. Management took notice of this and attempted to remedy the situation.
The insulation in all the apartments is very good, for the purposes of heat. Our electric bill never exceeded $40 a month the entire time we lived there. Double paned vynil windows, and the heat is radiant, so you don't lose wall space to baseboard heaters. The permit "window rattler" air conditioners, which is a BIG plus.
The noise level can be a bit high, as the sound insulation is quite poor. Our own apartment was sandwiched between a loud retarded man who spent much of his time shouting at his pets, and a stressed out family man who spent way too much time screaming at his wife and kids.
Parking is reserved, for one space, and additional parking can be a little hard to come by. The pool is well maintained, though don't expect to be able to actually use it during the summer months due to it being full of screming kids more or less from dawn to dusk.
In summation, it's actually a very well maintainted apartment complex with very competent management at a reasonable price, in a great location. You get more than you pay for, you just have to be aware of the nature of the complex before you move in. If this was a traditional apartment complex, owned by a company, the rent would probably be very nearly double what they are asking.
Good luck, and happy apartment hunting. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
