Put in my six months and got out!

I knew things would be bad about a week after I moved in. Move in day was a Saturday, and next Saturday I went into the office to drop off my rental check. Well at that time the apartment manager said she had a noise complaint already...very odd i thought. The old woman below me complained of noise that Saturday I moved in! What did they expect' Oh well I thought. No biggie. WELL, next place I ended up renting called up Cedar Terrace to ask about my rental history, and Cedar Terrace said they had noise complaints! Nimwits. Sorry I couldn't be a little bit more quiet when moving in guys.
If you're into smoking you'll love this building. One woman in my building was a smoker, and because of this you could smell the smoke throughout the entire apartment. I had to shut all my vents and keep my windows closed the entire summer to keep the stench out. I made in a call to management, and they didn't do a thing.
Then there is the issue of craftsmanship. For it's age, this building is really starting to show it. The toilet ran the entire time I lived there, and my washer and dryer shook like a madman. I made several calls into mangement, and to their credit, they came out and fixed the problems. However, a day or two later the appliances would start doing their thing again.
Overall, I'd stay away from this place unless: a. you're a chain smoker, b. admire freeway noise, c. like no sun in your apartment, or d. like your appliances making all kind of weird noises.
