Well we just moved into Cedar terrace and it's great. They gave us a great deal, the apartment is HUGE, I can do cartwheels in the bathroom. The other comments are right about hearing EVERYTHING your neighbor does. I had read these reviews prior to us moving in and I didn't think the noise was as bad as it is. However, during the day, it doesn't really matter because we usually have the tv or music on so all we hear are footsteps and I bought earplugs for at night and sleep just fine. We are on the bottom floor, so if you take a top one (we didn't because we knew we would make too much noise) you would be fine on sleeping without earplugs. I would recommend this place. They gave us a great deal, paid the first three water bills for us and there are a ton of amenities, not a lot of apartments have a sauna, tanning, pool table, indoor spa, workout room (24hrs) etc. I've yet to have a problem with parking either. I would take a look at Cedar terrace if you aren't too concerned about the noise because everything else is great. The new staff (Essex) has already begun management and the few issues we had with our apartment (appliance wise) were fixed within a day.

Hmm this is a very outdated post. I agreed with all of this at one point. But then the new management came in and I was treated VERY poorly. No customer service, RUDE people, and very very unprofessional in the way they conduct business. I would have to say that you are 100% correct on the noise. I now know the bedroom and bathroom habits of the upstairs neighbors. Argh...
