Office management is a nightmare

I moved into these apartments over a year ago and initially I did not have any major complaints. The apartments are spacious with central air and plenty of storage. Recently the complex changed property managers and I have nothing but complaints regarding their service. They never return a phone call in a timely manner or even at all. Most recently, the mail room was broken into and all of the tenants mail was stolen - the complex did not bother to notify its tenants for almost two days.
If you want anything fixed, please do it yourself. Maintenance is nonexistent and problems remain for lengthy periods of time.
Parking is a nightmare for any tenant with more than one car. Additionally, renewing a lease was a huge hassle. You can expect a sharp increase in rent (within legal perimeters) only if you sign a year lease. Anything less than a year and you should expect a dramatic increase (from $800 to $975).
I would have recommended this complex a year ago, but not today. With the unfriendly staff and corporate style management, Cedar Terrace has lost its appeal.
