Dissatisfied with the living conditions

With regards to the last post, of course people are going to be resistant to *bad* changes, especially if they are paying for it. I don't want to pay $1100 a month for a living situation that's getting progressively worse.
I left after only a month of living at Cedar Terrace because of numerous bad experiences. I lived on the first floor in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath place. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear every noise your neighbors make. On typical days I could hear my neighbors using the bathroom, and I could hear their TVs and stereos. On bad days I could hear them vomiting in the bathroom. The floorboards are extremely squeaky, so even normal walking sounds like stomping. Shoes with heels were even worse!
Parking is a *huge* problem -- there just aren't enough spots. Pay for a reserved parking spot; at only $20/month it's a great deal. If you don't and try to get a spot after working a 9-5 job, you may not find anything remotely close to your apartment.
My experiences closely mirror a previous poster's experiences -- I think the person just a couple of posts prior who talks about the squeaky floorboards, thin walls, and noisy neighbors. Really consider the reviews from 2006 on here; I should have read them before I signed my lease. If I had, I would have found another place to live instead of experiencing everything for myself and then breaking my lease for a fee of $2200.
By the way, Cedar Terrace does have some positive aspects, even though it's not enough to outweigh the negatives.
Pros: spacious (my apt was 986 sq ft!), bright/neutral interior, lots of closet space, good floorplan.
