I just wanted to warn any prospective applicants to stay away from Cedar Terrace unless you like throwing your money away. Not only was the office poorly run, several different people who worked up there and it seemed like there was little coordination between any two of them, but they will also try to squeeze every last dollar out of you that they possibly can. I recommend getting a copy of any lease that they want you to sign before signing it and either read it thoroughly or have someone who knows about lessor/lessee laws go over it. The lease is 37 pages long to start, and at no point in time do they bother to go over it with you other than to rush you through where to sign or initial so they can get it out of the way. To top it all off when I went to the office 2 days before our lease was up to ask about key return, I was informed that if i didn't give 20 days notice prior to moving out, even at the end of our lease, that our lease would be automatically renewed. This being the first apartment I have ever lived in that did this to me, in Washington state or not, I was very surprised to hear it and after talking with a neighbor who had just recently moved in they were just as surprised since nothing was mentioned to them about it at the lease signing either.
On a bright note the two maintenance workers, I never got the chance to learn their names, were always very kind and helpful, when they actually received our work orders.
Other than that I highly recommend finding another residence, unless you want to live somewhere that is apparently uninterested in long term lessees and will try to squeeze every last dollar out of you that they can. Since we have another 20 days left on our lease I cannot tell you how bad they are going to try and screw us on our security deposit or cleaning fees, but based on other reviews i have read about Cedar Terrace, it will be for as much as they can possible get out of us.

I bought out my lease at Cedar Terrace after only one month. Having only lived there maybe 2 weeks of that month, I didn't bother to put up pictures or anything. There weren't even signs of wear and tear, since I hardly stayed at my apartment. Nevertheless, my entire cleaning deposit was taken from me, and to top it off, they charged me extra!! For what, I have no idea. I didn't even bother to dispute the charges because I was already so pissed off at them for nearly having my car towed for parking in my own paid, reserved parking spot. This place has major issues. Fight for your deposit back... make them provide an itemized list of what they're charging you for... and if they ask for more money on top of your original deposit, request an itemized list for that as well. According to another reviewer, they should back off. Good luck!! :)

Of course you have to give them notice you're moving out! When people complain about the dumbest things it makes it really hard for people who haven't lived at these places make a proper decision. Ugh....
