I've never been so unhappy in an apartment! I agree with the reviewer who likened the aparment to a cave - it's always dark and dismal. Mosquitoes swarm around patios in the summer, and the apartment gets stuffy and hot from the lack of central air (first time in my LIFE I've not had A/C!). In the winter it's the opposite - it's damp and cold, and the heat doesn't travel well to the bedroom. I even had to buy a portable heater. And, to top it all off, I can hear EVERY sound my neighbors make - like I really want to know when they're using the bathroom!!!

As far as storage space is concerned, forget it. Closets are miniscule with loud sliding doors that constantly fall off the hinge. Bedrooms are the size of a child's room, with no ventilation in the "master bath" so the entire room is humid after a shower. The kitchen is just butt-ugly with horrible vinyl tiles that constantly scratch and are impossible to clean. As for management, they're incredibly friendly - until you move in, that is. I haven't received so much as a "hello", unless of course I'm paying my rent.

If you think the apartment itself is my biggest gripe, think again - parking is the single-worst aspect of living here. I've never lived anywhere that only gives one space for a 2 bdrm. apartment. I'm constantly stuck parking on the street and I'm just waiting for the day my car disappears. So why on earth am I here' You guessed it, my pets. I can't wait until my lease is up!
