Ok, there are some pros and cons...
Rent could be a tad cheaper. But, we are talking Bellevue, people, what can you expect' The parking could be better, but to be truthful, we had two cars, and only once or twice did we have to park farther away from our apartment.
The appliances....well, they are also to be expected with an apartment. Not in the best shape...BUT we were *always* treated kindly and quickly...we *never* had to wait more than 24 hours for a repair or replacement. Never. And it wasn't like we didn't use the appliances often. With wear and tear, it's gonna happen.
Our apartment was quiet, and we never had any problems with noise. I worked from home and lived around pool area...the noise was minimal, no yelling people, no uncontrollable yapping dogs, no screeching tires. We had some ants, we sprayed, they went away. No bug "problem".
When we weren't able to clean our apartment thoroughly upon move out, (our pre-paid cleaners didn't show...) we let LeeAnn know and the cleaning bill, for a fairly dirty 2-bedroom, was just over $100. That's pretty honest and fair, and if we hadn't had to re-locate to find work, I'd live back at Emerald Ridge in a heartbeat.
