I've been living at Emerald Ridge for 2 years now.

With the exception of the occasional rude neighbor, the place is very nice to live in. Troublemakers are dealt with and are removed, the grounds are kept clean, and the management is always helpful in fixing any problems that might arise.

After looking at the previous reviews written, I can even point out who half the people are who wrote negative reviews, and often they damaged their apartment or complained about things that had no problems. (i.e. smoke coming through the vents, which isn't possible given the building's construction).

The pool and hot tub areas are kept clean, and the facilities such as the gym and hot tub are adequate, given the amount of room that is alloted for it.

The complex is pet friendly, and there are walking paths and a park across the street. Not too many children reside here, so it's not overly noisy, and contrary to what was written, it's hard to hear traffic from the interstates (I-90 and I-405) that are nearby, unless you're straining to hear them.

Maintenance fixes any issues that come up as quickly as possible, and I've personally never had a problem having any issue taken care of that I needed. Leeann and Renae do a very good job of making sure the complex runs.

I'm not saying Emerald Ridge is perfect, but it's a lot better than many other apartment complexes in Bellevue. Given the older construction of the buildings (1986), they do a pretty good job of keep things maintained and functionning.
