I retract my old review... This place sucks. Management is weak sauce.

Just wait you will see that it is the management not the manager. Wait until you have a work order or a problem with your apartment. Wait until the weather is bad and you get trees falling through your apartment. Just wait.

I would have to agree with tomorrow55. LeeAnne was terrible. But....the new management might be more friendly but that's about it. I have done nothing but complain about my upstairs neighbors since they moved in. They STOMP around all the time. They just let their little dog out to run about and crap where ever. Every time I talk to management about this, I'm told "We'll talk to them". Well folks, talk is cheap. I would never recommend this dump to anyone. Don't get me wrong; my downstairs neighbors are great (all of them) and the neigbors next to me are great as well. It's pretty sad when a few rotten people have to make it miserable for the rest of us. I could complain about many, many more things here but why bother.

If it's so terrible than move, or choose to live on the top floor and see how many folks complain about you stomping about.
We live in apartments; it's a given that your going to hear your neighbors.
Maybe management is tired of hearing you complain all the time.
I hope your not in my building!!
My upstairs neighbors are loud to but I didn't move in expecting a fantasy resort. I expected an apartment complex with normal issue's.

Hi all,
I am checking out these most recent responses because I am considering a move to Emerald Ridge - honestly (and it is an apt so it's a given about some things) is it that bad? Ok for younger kids?

I have lived here for about a year right now and am so ready to move out.
The reason I moved here in the first place was because the rent was the cheapest I could find in this area. I will admit, this place is in a very convenient location; it is close to the freeway and downtown. BUT! You only get what you pay for. I would rather commute to a freeway entrance or to the grocery store than live here. I moved here at the end of summer when it was starting to get cool outside, but as soon as summer of next year rolled around, I got a lot of 6 legged intruders that would crawl in the number of hundreds in my kitchen... yes, they were little tiny sugar ants. I have spoken to an expert before and they said that they are the worst kind of ants to have and must be treated frequently... although this problem has been reported, it was never treated. Another thing is that whenever they remodel an apartment complex above you or below you, they turn off the water... which seems reasonable.. but it is not something that they told me, it was something I had to figure out on my own after experiencing 24hrs with no water (meaning you cant shower, cook or even flush your toilet). I had called the emergency maintenance service but it was no help. On the contrary, when I called the pager number provided, there was a message that said "You have entered an invalid pager number" I couldn't believe it. I tried a few more times making sure the number was correct, yet the response was the same. At this point I was FURIOUS. Why couldn't you tell me ahead of time? Why would you put a false pager number on there? It kind of makes you wonder what else could be fake on their info/contracts. Furthermore, the parking is HORRIBLE! If you are a social person trying to have some friends over once in a while, you definitely cannot have it at your place unless your friends walk here. There are about 20 visitor parkings available but residents use that space too. It is not unusual coming home from a late night and having to walk 10 minutes to your place since you parked on the street. Another thing I've noticed is that people who live here are really rude. I was sitting on my balcony with my friend one afternoon lounging when an old man can storming out of his apartment and yelled at some kids for playing marco-polo in the pool. Did I mention it was in the middle of the afternoon?? He was screaming at 10 year olds telling then he was going to call the cops! Oh ya, and don't be surprised if winter rolls around and your heater doesn't work. And remember what I said about the maintenance people? ya, they'll never fix it.

I advise you to speak to tenants before moving in and not buying the phony crap the tour guides give you, once your in it's all down hill, all those smiles you get while signing papers disappear once your money is in their hands.
