I paid $250 in non-refunable application and document fees to move into this place. The parking spots are too small and there is a terrible noise from the pipes appears every 15 minutes for about 30 seconds. Yes, that noise occurs 24/7, which includes night when you're trying to sleep.

Try finding a place with lower upfront fees and less apartment noise. This apartment is in decent location, but there are other places nearby as well.

This statement is false. At no time do we or have we ever had a $250.00 non refundable fee. Also never from anyone have we heard complaints in regard to pipe noise. So we are confused. If in fact there was or is a pipe noise we can not fix what is not brought to our attention. Again this is the first hearing any comment such as this.

My bank statement would differ from your response. It's showing an irrefutable $250. I endured a year of 24/7 pipe noise. It occurs every 15 minutes or so and lasts for maybe 30 seconds. It's not something you really get used to, but if you're really tired, the piercing noise doesn't bother you. On the bright side, I rarely hear my neighbors, except for when they were watching football, which is ok with me.

At the time you rented an apartment you put down a $400 holding fee, in which $175 was no refundable and $225 was refundable, if you had any sort of increase deposit that would have been added to the refundable portin of your deposit.
