Lived in Highland Village Apartments for 2 years 8 mo
Horrible place.
Prepare for bogus rent increases and nothing to show for it.
Management working hours are only 4 hours a day and unavailable otherwise.
Do not expect any response to your maintenance requests. Promises all you want.
No parking for guests what so ever - strictly enforced with towing
Grounds not maintained, unless you count the weekly 15 min run with some leaf blowers just to pick up dust from the pavement.
Buildings are old and poorly insulated. Windows are single paned with no insulation. Prepare for very high electric bills to heat up the apartment.
On top of everything there is some air exchange between the individual apartments because you can smell every odor from the neighbors.
Management promised windows change and insulation from some government program for the past several years but nothing in the works.
Every time there is any work done around the property and there is a screw up, the regular excuse of the management is that it isn't their fault but contractors working and there's nothing that can be done.
