The #1 best thing about Juniper Ridge is Jo, the apartment manager. Honest, kind, fair, helpful, responsive and treats everyone like family. I live quietly and appreciate my privacy and when I moved in Jo said, "This is your home. We won't ever bother you or enter your apt unless there is smoke or water pouring out of it." There is chimney maintenance every year in the Spring, and sprinker/fire alarm inspection that requires access to the unit, and dryer vent cleaning. Other than that your home is your own -- very private and beautifully maintained. Huge floorplan for the price (my unit 1100 sq ft or so), nice neighbors, small complex (44 units, I think). They just completed pressurewashing the outside and repainting wooden parts and doors. so looks new. Apts are close to freeway so you can hear it in background but it's not bothersome, sounds a little like the ocean. Incredible view of the lake from my top floor unit, cathedral ceilings, lots of windows and light. Hot in summer, as most apts are. When I moved in they permitted a pet (cat) ... don't know policy now. There's a limited set of garage units you can rent -- 2 years ago it was $80/month. My top-floor 2 BED 1.75 BA unit is $990 (month-to-month, no lease required). I can't say enough great things about this place, wish I could stay. And again, if you've had bad experiences with apt management you will REALLY appreciate the superb job Jo & husband do. You will love it here, I am sad to leave.
