I have lived at Kendall Ridge for 8 months and on several occasions have witnessed the staff being disrespectful to residents. I was uneasy on the day that I signed my lease because one of the staff members was being borderline rude to a resident who happened to be in the office at the same time. Because this apartment has a good location and a fairly reasonable price, I disregarded the incident. Recently we have had an issue with the management being over-controlling about what is and is not allowed to be on the front porches of these apartments. For anyone interested in moving in here, make a note: the management considers your front porch to be a PUBLIC AREA. Therefore they can dictate which private property you may or may not keep on it. Tables and chairs are fine, they say, as well as adult bicycles. But children's tricycles or strollers' Unacceptable, they say. I have to wonder if they are discriminating against families with small children' Why is an adult bike acceptable when a children's bike is not' The reason this is such a big issue for me is that there is ZERO storage in these apartments. There is NO front hall closet, NO storage closets of any type. There is simply nowhere else to keep these things. I understand not wanting garbage or clutter on a porch, but an indoor/outdoor item like a bicycle or a stroller seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Seeing as the majority of residents in these apartments seem to have young children, I think the management has made a huge mistake with this latest power-trip they seem to be on. It is going to create a hassle for a lot of people. I know that unless they change this policy, I will definitely not be renewing my lease, despite the good location.

I'm dealing with the same lousy situation, the management is horrible. They want me to move my belongings off the porch. Ok, so where do I put it, in my invisible storage space?? The management is rude, the apartments are small, there much higher price than LARGER apartment complexes around, and they want to increase our rent over 400.00.
