Snowstorm aftermath

Management appears to have done NOTHING to address the impact of our recent snowfall. No plowing, salt or sand on either the walkways or roads, creating treacherous, slippery conditions for both vehicles and pedestrians. Most of the walkways are covered with uneven, compacted snow and ice, leading to potential pratfalls and sprained ankles. Vehicles have been getting stuck in the snow for days now. I've seen cars left with their blinkers on, groups of people pushing vehicles through deep icy sludge, and even SUVs slipping and sliding back and forth in the ice and melt. At least one person called a tow truck to winch his car out of the rutted snow on the main roadway. If you wish to hazard navigating through the complex, you better have chains or a 4x4 with redneck-fat tires. The adjacent senior-citizen home had its parking lot and roads plowed, so some individuals have chosen to park there instead, despite the tow-away zone.
When there's no snow, workers come around regularly with noisy, polluting leaf blowers -- often around 7-8am, even in the rain. Why hasn't management sent these same people with snow blowers, or at least shovels, to clear the main walkways and parking areas' There's definitely potential for a lawsuit here, especially if someone got hurt or incurred expenses due to a stuck vehicle. It's mystifying why no one's lifting a finger to address the visible and obvious problems, which will remain until most of the snow melts.

I just came back after a week away for Christmas, and I was sickened and disgusted that management hasn't lifted a finger to do anything with the parking situation. The maintenance crew should--at the LEAST--be out there with shovels clearing people's staircases and walkways. This place only cares about its tenants when it comes time to pay rent.

Totally agree. I just came to the website to write a about the lack of action and saw this review. For comparison I personally checked all the nearby apartment complexes. I found that Central-Park, Piedmont and Lamplighter have been cleared of snow.
I better write a review myself as I have many more gripes!!!

Last week, my pregnant wife slipped and landed on her bottom at the parking lot. Luckily nothing bad happened. We were so scared that we called up Urgent Care. Still I am so worried about whether the fall could have hurt the baby.
My car got stuck twice in the snow in the apartment complex. I used chains for a week but with the main roads getting cleared, I had to remove the chains to avoid damage to the tires. But entering Kendall Ridge caused my car to get stuck. It took more than an hour in the freezing temperatures to get my car off the snow. The next day I left my car in the office and took a bus home.
The nearby Hampton Gardens had cleared the snow and ice on the very day it snowed and they don't like Kendal Ridge residents parking in their complex and I can understand that.
Now, we still get a $100 bill for the water, sewer and garbage even though the recycling bins were removed without any reason or notice. When I inquired why this was done, the reply was residents were dumping food garbage into the recycle bins and this was causing the expenses to go up.
The disadvantages of living here far outweigh the only two advantages: Close to the town and plenty of extra parking.
Unfortunately some residents are so uncaring about others. In the fitness center, people keep talking all the time or yelling over the mobile phone. I wonder if these people come to exercise or talk.
Even though the rents for prospective tenants have been reduced, the prices are still high compared to the market. Please consider other apartment complexes.

There's a Kendall Ridge ad video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1u-1xyCs-o0. For those actually living at the place, this may be funnier than most comedies out there...
