I've removed my old review which basically ragged on this place because the management was non-responsive, the maintenance crew was inept, and the rent was expensive considering we were apparently just supposed to keep shelling out monthly checks while things fell apart.

Well, I'm pleased to say that's changed in the past several months thanks to new management. The ladies in the office are friendly and professional. The maintenance crew handles requests on a timely basis and complete the jobs they start. My rent has also been reduced nearly 20% when I renewed a long-term lease--although I'm sure the economy in general had a lot to do with that, but I can't complain about saving some money!

Of course, not everything has changed--neighbors can be noisy, and kids can be running around yelling outside. I definitely wish I had an upstairs corner unit so I didn't have to hear footsteps and other noise, but I guess that's the story you'll find in most apartment complexes.

In any case, it's been very refreshing to have a much better management and maintenance crew, so I'm now giving this place a thumbs up!
